Visiting profession Radim Malinic was extremely helpful in giving an inside into industry and the struggles he faced when first entering the industry as well as how he as a designer has progressed over the years. I found it especially helpful as he showed example of his work in particular his branding work for Mutual Attraction as he demonstrated his initial ideas and how he develops his work to create a final brand identity. This was extremely interesting to me as I find brand identities very interesting as this is area of graphic design I currently would like to go into so it was helpful to see how he approaches client briefs and how he presents his designs. This was particularly interesting as it will allow me to adapt his techniques when developing a project to my own work in order to create a more professional outcome. His book was also helpful as it gave me lots of inspiration and thought me I don't have to stick to a specific style as it gave me inspiration to experiment with different ideas and mediums.
